For many years Kittery Point resident, Gunnar Ek has been involved in the development of sustainable aquaculture projects through UNH and has been exploring new, sustainable methods for growing fish, mussels and seaweed off the coast of Kittery. He is the Project Manager of a trout farm in Newcastle that utilizes these cutting edge practices to produce clean, healthy steelhead trout!  With the strong movement towards local farm-to-table food supply for restaurants and home cooking, this class will highlight the most important milestones of sustainable fish-farming and help you discover how to get access to or even grow clean, healthy seafood in the future.

Beginner swing dancing is fun, active, and social! You don't need a partner and you don't need any experience. This 8-week progressive session will cover the basics of 8-count Lindy Hop. A 30-minute practice session follows class. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring clean, smooth-soled shoes to change into at the class venue to keep the floor clean. Class meets at The Dance Hall in Kittery, ME.

Beginning French, Part 2

In this class, you will learn the basics of communicating in Spanish. We will cover common vocabulary, basic sentence structures, and helpful topics for the prospective traveler. Kevin is an English as a Second Language teacher to Spanish speaking students. He has a Masters degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Spanish. He studied abroad in Malaga, Spain.
