with Duncan Perry
Get ready to take your ukulele playing to another level with Duncan Perry! Using his song-based approach, you will explore left hand ornamentation techniques including hammering on and slides. The right hand will get a work out as you expand your knowledge of strumming and finger picking by learning such skills as triplets and muting. More chords will be added to your tool box and you will learn how to transpose songs from one key to another. Of course, there will be many laughs along the way. The pace will be geared to the proficiency level of those enrolling. At a minimum, all students are expected to know basic chord formations in the Keys of C and G and be capable of smooth chord transitions. If you love playing the ukulele and you want to enhance your knowledge of this wonderful instrument, this course is a must.
