Beginner Bridge for Fun

Beginner Drawing

Develop skills to draw what you see. Start with the basics: contour, perspective, value shading, composition, and gesture. Then move on to observational drawing using line, gesture, shape, value and texture to record and interpret reality.

Beginner Japanese Rose Window

This faux stained glass window art is created using layered tissue paper that has been cut in various designs with an exacto knife. The result of this technique is absolutely stunning. Class size limited to 8. Bring to class: sharp paper scissors, a cutting mat and sharp exacto knife.

Beginner Spanish

In this class, you will learn the basics of communicating in Spanish. We will cover common vocabulary, basic sentence structures, and helpful topics for the prospective traveler.

Kevin is an English as a Second Langauge teacher to Spanish speaking students. He has a Masters degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Spanish. He studied abroad in Malaga, Spain.

Beginners German for the Traveler

This course will focus on speaking and situational vocabulary that will give the student a solid foundation for traveling to Germany. Students will learn how to communicate effectively and with cultural awareness while traveling. We will NOT be focusing on grammar, only learning what we need for each situation. Please bring a notebook and writing utensil to class. I look forward to joining everyone for a stress free German learning experience!

Just in time for your spring flowers or herbs. Using clay, learn hand building techniques to create a wall planter. Wearing an apron or

cloths that can get messy suggested. No experience necessary.
