Sahaja Yoga

Sahaja Yoga is a unique method of meditation developed by H.H.Mataji Nirmala Devi (1923-2011). Through this process, one becomes balanced and integrated mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. In this class you will learn chakra clearing techniques using natural elements and affirmations that will deepen the meditation experience.  Sahaja Yoga does not require physical exerciese and no previous experience is necessary. Jerry voluntarily shares Sahaja Yoga.

The focus is on simple conversation for travel. No book required but I will be using one as a guide and can provide the details.

Developing Intuitive Abilities to Navigate our Stressful World

Class is scheduled to meet in person but if circumstances change, you will be notified and sent a link to attend virtually using Zoom meetings online. Our western culture emphasizes rationality and logic without acknowledging the existence and proven validity of INTUITION (gut feelings). Consequently, when making life decisions, we get caught up in our heads, which can cause considerable mistakes to be made. Learning to develop your intuition (a force inherent in us all) for guidance will change your world by enhancing your trust and sense of security. Maia Rizzi is a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

Ukulele for Beginners

This is a virtual only class. Upon registration you will receive a link to attend virtually. The instrucor will be using either Zoom or Google Meets.

This instrument is versatile and a blast to play. On it you can knock out folk tunes, rock, samba, blues, pop, country, and classical music. The ukulele can go most anywhere with you because it’s small and light weight. You do not need to know how to read music.  However, you must have a playable soprano, concert or tenor size ukulele (no baritones please) and an electronic tuner or tuning app on you iPhone or iPad.  If you don’t own a ukulele, please contact the Kittery Adult Education Office for helpful information about buying one. Duncan is a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing ukulele for 13 years.
