You'll also learn how to network and develop true partnerships with a variety of funders, how to organize a successful grant writing campaign, and how to put together a complete proposal package.
This course speaks mainly to nonprofit organizations, schools, religious institutions, and municipalities seeking grants from foundation, corporate, government, and individual donors. It's also an excellent primer for individuals wishing to become grant writing consultants or community grant writing volunteers.

This class covers composition, color theory, and color mixing as well as materials and techniques. You’ll learn and practice the fundamentals of painting with acrylics. Class time will provide time for experimentation, creativity and the opportunity to work on your own projects with guidance from the instructor. Beginner and Intermediate painters are both welcome! Advanced Beginning German

This course is a continuation from last semester. Previous experience necessary or teacher approval. Form a strong base in conversational German as all aspects of the language, its dialect and culture are explored through books, music and group discussions. Pronunciation and grammar will be emphasized and practiced with writing, speaking, reading, and listening.

Advanced Beginning Italian
with Julia Russell
This course is a continuation from last semester. Previous experience necessary or teacher approval. A course for beginners who would like to develop a solid foundation through basic grammar and simple conversation. We will begin with grammar basics, work on proper pronunciation, and include verb work. Julia is a former student at the Michelangelo Institute in Florence and the Center for Italian Studies in Naples. Please note instructor may need to travel in March so class may get extended in April.
