YIN-Yoga- Nidra reduces pain. This unique class focuses on unwinding tension in the body & mind. Yin Yoga is about stretching and applying gentle pressure to certain tissues. Longer held postures support your body in deep rest that restores balance & stimulates deep healing. This class allows time for muscles to relax, joints to open & fascia to release long held tensions. In addition, we hold acupoints to bring balance & ease of flow to mind/body.
Yoga Nidra literally means “yogic sleep”. This ancient technique uses guided meditations to bring you into deep states of conscious relaxation. Yoga Nidra is an effective method for relieving stress & easing anxiety. It is a systematic practice of moving awareness from our external world to the inner world; allowing the body & mind to restore, rest & heal deeply. Yoga Nidra is done lying down in stillness while Mary guides you into bliss.
