Intro to Improv! Activities Anyone Can Do

$38

with Beth Boynton

Calendar Sep 20, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Actors train in improv comedy to entertain audiences and the thought of taking an improv class can feel intimidating. The truth is that when we take the focus away from performing there are many fun improv activities that anyone can play. In this class, we will explore the principles of improvisation and experiment with a variety of games that promise laughter, new friends, and maybe even some new social skills. Beth Boynton, RN, MS is a consultant and author who teaches improv to non-actors in a way that is safe, fun, and sometimes, transformative. Beth is the founder of PILL-Portsmouth Improv Learning Lab and has written 3 books on communication and medical improv.
