Intermediate Paper Quilling brings together students who have already completed Beginner Paper Quilling classes and have previous quilling experience. Continue rolling, scrolling, looping, crimping and fringing. Learn additional techniques and applications, add to your reference card and start new and exciting projects.

Intuitive Painting Workshop: Acrylics

Calendar Oct 18, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 4 weeks

Beginner/Intermediate welcome. PLEASE NOTE NEW START DATE (different then in paper brochure).To alleviate the common fear of approaching a blank canvas, we will start the class with meditation, yoga, and various warm-up activities such as sketchbook drawings, a quick collaborative painting or painting swap. Jaclyn will then walk people through the steps of intuitive painting, which involves experimenting and playing with paint to create interesting marks, color combinations and layers of acrylic and mixed media. Basic paint colors (red, yellow, black, white) and supplies provided.

Bring to class: A yoga mat, canvas (minimum size 18x24) and any additional paints that speak to you.

Learn to crochet in rows, completing one simple project (an earwarmer, scarf or Stitch Sampler Washcloth). Options for learning multiple stitches (SC, HDC, DC) but NOT necessary.  Small class size will allow for more one-on-one instruction. Cindy has been crocheting since 2nd grade and can't wait to share her passion with you. A material list will be provided for your chosen project. No experience necessary.
